Meet our panelists:
Linneah Tovstiga is a lifelong learner, storyteller, and protector of her peace. A proud resident of Brantford, Ontario, she holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Public Relations Graduate Certificate from Mohawk College. By day, Linneah is an award-winning Communications Advisor for the Brant Community Healthcare System, where she supports senior leadership in wellness, engagement, DEI, and strategy initiatives. By night she is a plant killer, gin collector, and cat roommate. Linneah has served on the board of directors for CPRS Hamilton for five years, as Secretary and Chair of the Mentorship Committee. She is passionate about fostering healthy, inclusive, and fulfilling environments wherever she goes. Linneah spends her spare time curling, reading fiction, and not checking her email.
Sarah Doyle is a seasoned communication professional, certified leadership coach, training facilitator and workplace culture consultant. With over two decades of leadership experience in PR and communications, Sarah has specialized in corporate communication, issues management and crisis communication. Her career has spanned across public, private and post-secondary sectors working with the Government of Alberta, Edmonton Police Commission, CWB Financial Group, EPCOR and the University of Alberta. With a passion for leadership development and professional coaching, Sarah stepped out of the corporate environment and into entrepreneurship in 2023. Sarah is the founder of Coach for Success, a professional coaching, culture and communication consultancy. She works with mid-level leaders on the way to becoming senior executives and mid-career professional women inspired to reach their next level. Sarah holds a BA Honours degree, Diploma in PR and Communication and Certificate in Leadership Coaching. She is a passionate advocate for mental health, inclusivity, and women in leadership.
Jane Allison is an award-winning community advocate and communications professional and is the principal of Dovetail Community, a firm devoted to counselling, connecting and mentoring organizations about community impact and development, as well as PR/communications strategies and facilitation. She was the Manager of Community Partnerships at The Hamilton Spectator for more than 11 years, after being at the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board for almost nine years in the role of Public Relations Officer. Jane is a frequent speaker, moderator and host for events, workshops and teaching sessions, and has launched two podcasts, Sideroads and Tangents!. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph and the Post-Graduate Public Relations Program at Humber College. Jane has been named a Canadian Public Relations Society Diamond Jubilee Mentor of the Year. In 2021, Dovetail Community was named the Diamond Level PR Firm by The Hamilton Spectator Readers’ Choice Awards. She has been designated a Fellow by the Canadian Public Relations Society of Canada.
